Black Jack

I knew the basics of black jack but I did not know that there is so many different stratigies to play the game. I never knew you could double down to help your chances. The way I played was play big but obviously that was the wrong choice. In the end I ended up losing all my money on the last hand. So if I maybe would have played smarter I might have won a few more hands.

Difference between trade and an investment

The difference between a trade and an investment is that a trade is where you plan to make a profit on or in certain times. A example would be that you buy Hershey's before Halloween and sell the day or day after Halloween. So you buy a quick stock and for matter of months when you catalyst or event to make a profit happens then you sell it. An investment is where you buy a stock that you wish to hold for a long matter of time to continuously make a profit over time. An example would be buying Johnson and Johnson. Since people have babies all the time and will need it for a long time you would constantly make money over time. So around the time people have the least amount of babies you would want to buy a lot of stocks and when they are high you can sell stocks to make more money. A good way to short sale would be if you know a stock is either going to bust or boom is to buy a few stocks of the stock and after it booms and bust sell the short stocks back to make a quick buck!

Candy Stock Market

We were told that we would go into a dark room and that we will have to pick up candy. We all stood in line and when Mr Kapptie said go we stormed into the dark room and saw candy spread out all over the table and floor. I went for all the candy I could get on the table farthest of the front door and got all the candy. Then I went to the floor under the table tans grabbed a bunch of Monopoly money and a few pieces of candy. The whole time there was flashing lights and very loud. In a matter of minutes everyone had all the candy and we were watching the market go up and down. Next we would go around trading candy and cash and watching the market go up and down. Finally I saw Zach with a lot of twirlers so I decided to merge with him because the twizzlers were doing very well and I had tootsies pops that I knew would do awesome! So towards the end of the market we had the two best candies but no cash. Come to find out that was the deciding factor for us. So we lost to a group that had over 7000 dollars! It was a blast and I think I would not mind being in that kind of atmosphere.
